Cochrane Entertainment is an innovative event creation company specialising in Live Entertainment, Festivals and Sports Properties on a global scale. The team are passionate, big picture thinkers ideating award-winning international entertainment projects.

Ideation is our specialty, but what truly sets us apart, is our turnkey solutions. From the Big Fkn idea, to brand creation, commercialisation, strategic marketing, media rights, and touring logistics with end-to-end project delivery anywhere in the world. We think big – working across five continents, we collaborate with some of the world’s biggest brands, entertainers, and sports.

Cochrane Entertainment is led by producing partners, Tony Cochrane AM and Thea Jeanes-Cochrane. They have originated, produced and promoted a wide variety of projects in the entertainment and sports industry, from global motorsports properties, West End and Broadway Theatre productions, concerts tours, televised Ceremony events, to touring exhibitions.

SXSW SYDNEY

Cochrane Entertainment played a vital role in delivering SXSW to Sydney, alongside Destination NSW and TEG. Director Thea Jeanes-Cochrane worked closely with SXSW Austin for close to 3 years on the ideation and creation of a second major SXSW exclusively for the Southern Hemisphere. SXSW Sydney represents the first expansion of the iconic futuristic conference and festival outside of America in its 36-year history. Cochrane Entertainment’s’ vital support and determination was instrumental in delivering SXSW Sydney – to be held October 15-22, 2023.

CONCERT TOURS

Cochrane Entertainment are the Brand & Marketing Strategists for the FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX), recently globally launching the new brand mark and creative assets for the WSX Championship. Design direction was spearheaded by Cochrane Entertainment’s Director Thea Jeanes-Cochrane, on behalf of SX Global, the Championship promoter.

Producers of  an eclectic mix of live televised major events, most recently the historic 2020 AFL Grand Final half time and pre-game shows to an audience of nearly 6M. Other major events include Glasgow Commonwealth Games Flag Handover Ceremony, the Gold Coast Bid events in St Kitts and the Arafura Games Opening Ceremonies.

Producers of an array of Australian concert tours, including The Rolling Stones - 14 On Fire Tour, The Motown 50th Anniversary Concert Tribute, and The Main Event  starring John Farnham, Olivia Newton-John and Anthony Warlow, along with one-off live shows featured within sports properties.

Originated and designed by Cochrane Entertainment, produced in partnership with TEG, a unique portfolio of multi-million dollar exhibitions in collaboration with some of the world’s most iconic brands and stars; The Rolling Stones on Exhibitionism, Real Madrid C.F World of Football, and Nelson Mandela’s Foundation to create Mandela My Life: The Official Exhibition

Boasting a rich history in motorsports properties, Tony Cochrane was previously the Founding Executive Chairman of V8 Supercars, growing this business into an international motorsport category racing in NZ, China, UAE, and the USA, and building the business value to more than $A300M, before selling out and stepping down in 2012.

Co-Producers of Tony Award winning Broadway production of Hairspray; The King & I, (London) at the Palladium; Australian productions of The Sound of Music; Annie; The Producers; Wizard of Oz. Tony Cochrane AM is the recipient of a Tony Award.
